Schedule of Events For Boat Hosts
Tuesday, May 7
Boat hosts will be connected via email with their guests. You will be asked to get in touch with your guest and make your arrangements for Saturday fishing.
Note: You can fish anytime on Saturday, but make sure that you’re aware your guests may be attending the launch ceremony and/or the Shore Lunch
Thursday, May 9 4-6 p.m. or Friday, May 10 8-10 a.m. or 4-6 p.m.
Pick up your event credentials in the City Hall Ballroom.
Thursday, May 9 6-9 p.m.
Come on your own or encourage your fishing guests to meet you for a casual Welcome Reception at the VFW.
Friday, May 10 4:30-8 p.m.
Engage in the Community Celebration with waterski show, presentations and fun at Ohuta Park.
Saturday, May 14 – Fishing Opener!
8-8:30 a.m. Launch ceremony at Lake City Marina
12:30 p.m. Shore lunch at Lake City Sportsman’s Club

Can I have a boat partner on the boat to assist me that day?
If you need a boat partner to help make the day easier for you, your partner must also register as a boat host. Have them make a note in the registration they will be assisting [your name]
Do I need to provide rods, tackle and bait for the boat guests?
Yes. Please make sure you have enough rods for the number of guests you signed up to host.
We anticipate this to be a great event that could not happen without your help. Thank you so much for giving yourself, and get ready to have some fun! If you know of any family or friends who have been on the fence about being a boat host, please invite them to apply!
